It was decorated with glass-adorned golden pillars, glass-adorned golden window panels, intricate floral and vine carvings, and exquisite sculptures. Later, the hall was further renovated by U Kala Gyi and his family, from the Puzundaung ward, which is why it came to be known as the U Kala Gyi adoration hall. The renovations were subsequently carried out by U Nay Doon, son of U Kala, and Daw Lay Khin\u2019s family, hence also referred to as U Nay Doon Hall .Inside the hall stands the Kakusandha Buddha Statue.
