Later, the hall was further renovated by U Kala Gyi and his family, from the Puzundaung ward, which is why it came to be known as the U Kala Gyi adoration hall. The renovations were subsequently carried out by U Nay Doon, son of U Kala, and Daw Lay Khin\u2019s family, hence also referred to as U Nay Doon Hall .Inside the hall stands the Kakusandha Buddha Statue. As a result, the Pagoda Trustees’ Committee encouraged the descendants of the original donors to rebuild. In 1983, Daw Aye Yin (from Thingangyun) and his grandson U Ba Myaing (from No. 192, Karet Road, Yangon) undertook the reconstruction and donated the new adoration hall. The family continued their renovations until 1963.
\n\tAfterwards, from 1964 to 1970, Daw Thwe from Aung Nan Ward, Mogok, continued the renovations and donations for it.
