This recitation begins 11 days before the full moon day of Wagaung, symbolizing a collective movement involving staff, various groups, and the Pagoda Board of Trustees. Starting from 6 a.m. on the fourteenth of Wagaung, the day before the Buddhist sabbath, until 6 a.m. on the full moon day of Wagaung, 5 people each from the Sundry Task group and Office Staff will recite the Patisambhida Magga Pali non-stop, developing 528 kinds of metta. At dawn on the full moon day of Wagaung, in the Visitors’ pavilion, alms food is offered to the pagoda, and in the Ancient pavilion, Metta A Khar Taw Day is celebrated. At 7 a.m., groups including the conch shell group, the triangular brass gongs group, the gongs group, the flower bowl group, the Sasana flag holders, and the signboard group, along with staff and sundry task members, Board of Trustee members, and public service personnel, holding five flower stupas, rotate the pagoda clockwise and offer the flower stupas to the ruby-eyed statue (Pattamyarr Myet Shin Rotepwarrtaw) placed on the upper terrace of the pagoda and at four different spaces at the Ar Yon Kan Arch at the four corners of the pagoda. At 9:30 a.m., they receive the five precepts from Ovadacariya Sayadaws and monks, who are then offered Waso Robes, and recite chants to rejoice and receive merit. At 10:30 a.m., in Yaung Daw Phwint pavilion, alms food is offered to Ovadacariya Sayadaws and monks, and food is provided to the devotees who come to observe the Sabbath in line with the Ratanataya Puja on the full moon day of Wagaung.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

DetailMetta A Khar Taw Day (conveying and offering flower stupas)WagaungThe 14th day of the new moon of the month of Wakhaung (Afat Day) at 0600 hours in the morningAt Htee Taw Yon pavilion, members of the Pagoda Board of Trustees, Public Service personnel, and various task groups, specifically 25 members from each group, will participate […]

[21

post-245935","project","type-project","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","project_category-festival
["GET
