On the Missaka Mountain in Ceylone, the Venerable Mahinda and King Devanampiya Tissa met. A ,Spirit disguised as a Rhinoceros, guided them and indicated the path for spreading the teachings of the Buddha.
When preaching at the palace, after Crown Prince’s wife queen Anahterdevi and her companions worshiped, they got the happiness
Queen Anulādevī and her thousand ladies-in-waiting attained the realization of Nibbāna through the stages of enlightenment while in the garden.
The sacred relics brought by the Sumana Satmanay from the great King Sridhammasoka were received, and Venerable Mahinda himself paid homage to them at the foot of Missaka Mountain.
The Maha Bodhi Tree radiated beams of light into the sky, and the king along with the people, filling the ground, paid homage and worshipped it.
